Crochet a Leaf! (Zoom)

If you’ve got the basics of crochet down and want to try something new, join us to make crocheted leaves! They make great coasters, washcloths, placemats and decorations. We’ll discuss different uses for these little leaves and learn to create our own.

New to crochet? Feel free to sign up anyway and jump into the deep end! You may find it easier first to pick up basic techniques of making a slip knot, chaining, slip stitch and single crochet. Check out YouTube for lots of helpful instructions on these techniques and feel free to email jrello@minlib.net with any questions!

Both registered and waitlisted participants will receive a Zoom invitation to the program and, due to supply limits, please know that kits will not be available to those on the waitlist.

If you are on the waitlist, and you wish to obtain your own materials, the list is above. Of course, you're welcome to join us if you'd simply like to watch and have not obtained the materials!

Kits will be available for registered patrons at the Main Desk starting one week before the date of the program

Kits will include:

  • Yarn - DK or light worsted
  • Crochet hook - 4mm
  • Stitch marker
  • Yarn needle

On the day of the event you will receive an email with a link to join. At the time of the program simply click on the link and you'll see the host. For more information email Janelle at jrello@minlib.net.

Registration for this program will end three hours before the start time. The Zoom link will be sent after registration closes. Please be sure to check your spam folder in case it lands there.
