Mid-Continent Public Library, in cooperation with the 1000 Books Foundation, invites you to participate in this free program which encourages you to read 1000 books with your children before they start kindergarten.

Mark your calendars! Summer at MCPL begins June 1st and will run until August 24. Summer at MCPL encourages families to spend at least 20 minutes a day reading or engaging with literacy.

How It Works
