Managing Stress & Anxiety

In this workshop geared towards adults, we will discuss some psychoeducation on how anxiety impact us and how it can affect us physically, mentally, and behaviorally. We will go over some basic coping skills that can be used to help adults manage their stress and anxiety. This will include mindfulness/grounding techniques such as deep breathing, 54321, progressive muscle relaxation, thinking in categories, etc. We will end by touching upon the importance of self-care as a preventative measure for keeping anxiety in check.
