Time to Read!

The turn of another year is a perfect time for a time travel story, especially with HBO giving new life to one of my favs: The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

I’ve added these books to my TBR:

Toshikazu Kawaguchi: Before the Coffee Gets Cold

Visitors to a Tokyo cafe can travel back in time but they must return to the present before their coffee gets cold. The premise intrigues me and the book is very short but readers seem to either love it or hate it. If you’ve read this book, I’d love to know your opinion!

Anthony Doerr: Cloud Cuckoo Land

At over 600 pages, this is a long one but it sounds like an amazing story of children in completely different time periods and parts of the world (and space!) trying to survive and thrive in the face of tragic circumstances.

Amal Eh-Mohtar and Max Gladstone: This is How You Lose the Time War

Yes, this is still on my TBR from December but I will definitely get to it this month. February at the latest. Where does the time go?!
